Suitable for anyone over 14 years and wishing to learn basic live saving skills.
These life saving skills are taught in a relaxed friendly group environment with a qualified first aid instructor, where attendees will be able to practice CPR on manikins provided and become familiar with how a Defibrillator works.
Course content:
- Calling for an ambulance
- CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation)
- AED (Automated External Defibrillator)
Learning outcomes:
- Be able to confidently call for an ambulance
- Be able to identify if a casualty isn’t breathing
- Be able to perform CPR on an adult/child/baby
- Be able to allocate an AED
- Be able to use an AED confidently
