‘Peace of Mind’ Baby and Child First Aid (Workshop)

Suitable for parents/grandparents/carers and babysitters.

2 hours workshop

Workshop contents:

• Baby and child CPR
• Baby and child choking
• Baby and child recovery position
• Bumps
• Bleeding
• Burns

There is always time at the end to discuss any other relevant first aid questions/scenarios.

Learning outcomes:

• Able to perform CPR on a non breathing baby or child
• Able to manage a choking baby or child
• Able to place a baby or child in recovery position
• Abe to tend to a bump or bruise
• Able to control bleeding
• Able to treat burns
• Calling for an ambulance/ 111
